Hylander Sentenced to Two Years for Solicitation and Exploitation of a Minor
Magen Hylander, 35, of Hardeman County was recently sentenced to two years in jail after pleading guilty to charges of Solicitation of a Minor by Electronic Means and one count Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
Early last year, Hylander gifted a cellular device to a relative. It was discovered the cellular device contained messages and nude images between Magen Hylander and a minor that were sexual in nature.
It is unlawful for any person to knowingly possess material that includes a minor engaged in sexual activity or simulated sexual activity that is patently offensive.
Hylander will be required to serve 100 percent of her two-year sentence, but will receive 129 days credit for time already served. She is also required to register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victim.
