Scheduled Temporary Closure at Lake Halford Due to Paving
JACKSON, TENN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) will implement a temporary closure of Lake Halford in Huntingdon, Tennessee beginning on Monday, July 21, 2025, to conduct paving operations.
During this closure, crews will replace the existing asphalt and delineate parking spaces with painted lines, enhancing access to the lake.
Currently, the TWRA has not set a projected reopening date. As with all construction activities, the timeline for completion may be influenced by weather conditions. Following the completion of the construction project, the TWRA will issue a public announcement regarding the reopening of the area.
