April Library Happenings

The following is a list of some events happening at our county libraries in April 2023.

Middleton Library programs:
Middleton Community Library
  • Chair yoga at 12 p.m. on April 12, 2023
  • Adult/Homeschool Gardening Class at 12 p.m. on April 13 and April 20, 2023
  • Stem Class at 4 p.m. on April 13, 2023
  • Adult Book Club at 1 p.m. on April 14, 2023
  • Crafter noon at 1 p.m. on April 18, 2023
  • Preschool Storytime at 1 p.m. on April 20, 2023
  • Family Movie Day at 11 a.m. on April 22, 2023
Bolivar-Hardeman Library programs:
Bolivar – Hardeman Community Library
  • Teen Book Club will meet April 4, 2023, at 3:30 pm. We will read a short story, watch a short film, and play a game.
  • Storytime will be April 6 and April 20, 2023, at 10:30 am.
  • Brown Bag Book Club will meet on April 10, 2023, at 12 p.m. to discuss The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.
  • Sassy Seniors will meet April 11, 2023, for Bunco and April 25, 2023, for “Brain Games” at 10:30 a.m.
  • Career Snapshot will be April 12 and April 26, 2023, at 3:15 p.m. Vanessa, a retired physical therapist, will be sharing about her experience on April 13, 2023. Julia, a retired bakery owner, will be sharing on April 26, 2023.
  • Lego Club will meet on April 18, 2023, at 3:30 p.m.
Grand Junction Library programs:
  • The GED program meets every Wednesday at the library at 12:30 p.m. Call the library at (731) 764-2716 for more information.
  • The Grand Junction Library has had donations of hand sanitizer wipes and also home COVID tests. While supplies last, they are handing these out to the community. Simply stop in the library and pick them up.
  • The Library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesdays and Fridays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Lee Ola Roberts- Whiteville Library programs:
  • Easter Egg Hunt on April 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be present! If it rains the program will be indoors.
