Mrs. Lisa Raines, who is the Supervisor of Health Services for Hardeman County Schools, was recently selected as Tennessee School Nurse Administrator of the Year.

The Tennessee Association of School Nurses shared the following, “Lisa has been in school nursing for over 20 years and exemplifies leadership and promotion of school nurses every day. Lisa ensures that her staff is well trained, and she participates in state-led initiatives to stay current on all aspects of school health. She is well respected by her school community and has advocated for more staff over the years to provide the best possible care to benefit the children. Lisa also participates in county-wide opportunities such as sitting on the Grow Well Network Board, a consortium of healthcare advocates and providers, including schools, that strive to keep healthcare accessible and available to every child. She thinks innovatively, and has worked with Hardeman County Community Health Center to begin school-based clinics, and is working toward utilizing telehealth services . . . all to benefit the children of Hardeman County. Lisa’s longevity in School Nursing, leading a team of nurses for over 20 years, and innovative thought make her extremely qualified to be the School Nurse Administrator of the Year.”

Mrs. Raines has served as a School Nurse throughout Hardeman County Schools for 20 years and has served as Supervisor of Health Services for the past eight years.
