Local Author Visits Whiteville Library
Local author K. Turner visited the Lee Ola Roberts Library in Whiteville on Thursday, June 1, 2023, to help kick off the summer program. Turner is a multi-genre author who has written and illustrated several children’s books.
She read her new book, Please Don’t Swat, at the library and led the children in a honey bee themed craft project.
The reading program and activities will continue through the summer with story time, crafts, special visitors and a summer lunch program. For more information on the events, call the Lee Ola Roberts Library at (731) 254-8834.
