Madison Boatwright Receives Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens Award

The Hatchie Chapter Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is very proud to announce the 2022-2023 winner of its DAR Good Citizens Award is Madison Boatwright of Bolivar Central High School. The DAR Good Citizens Award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Madison was selected by her teachers and peers because she demonstrates these qualities to an outstanding degree.


DAR is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization. DAR members are dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism in communities across the nation. All students are invited to participate and learn more about the educational programs DAR offers. Educators, parents, and students are encouraged to contact their local DAR chapter (hatchie@tndar.org) for more detailed information on the programs.
