Hylander Arrested for Violation of Sex Offender Registry
According to a police report, which was filed at the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office, Magen B. Hylander, 37, of Hardeman County was arrested on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, for violating the Sex Offender Registry. Hylander is accused of contacting the same victim for which she was placed on the registry in 2023 after pleading guilty to charges of Solicitation of a Minor by Electronic Means and one count Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
It was reported Ms. Hylander commented on a TikTok post made by the 2023 victim. TCA 40-39-211 (b)(3) states that No Offender shall knowingly contact any victim or their family without the consent of the victim or the victim’s parent or legal guardian consent. A search warrant was issued for an account which is directly associated with Ms. Hylander. Based on the gathered information from the investigation, Ms. Hylander has been charged with Violation of the Sex Offender Registry.
Ms. Hylander had a scheduled initial hearing on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
