Manpower Ready to Assist Hardeman Countians with Next Career Move

Hardeman County residents seeking employment now have a direct connection to job opportunities through Manpower, a global company which has provided staffing solutions to businesses for more than 70 years. On Thursday, February 13, 2025, Manpower representatives from local West Tennessee offices, held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce announcing its readiness to serve the people of Hardeman County.
“At Manpower, we not only do industrial work, we do professional work also with executive professionals,” said Marquetta Hunt Winston, Manpower Operations Director of Southwest Tennessee. “We want to bring employment opportunities to everyone in the area to help the community thrive and help Hardeman County.”
Ms. Winston shared more details of available opportunities through Manpower for job seekers, which includes administrative, IT, supervisor, industrial plant manager, tech, and front office positions.
“We are a well-rounded team and consider ourselves not a temp agency, but an employment agency. We help from top to bottom,” said Ms. Winston. “We want people to not only have one job and stay one day, but we want them to be able to be direct-hired fulltime with the client.”
Although there is no physical site in Hardeman County, there are close sister offices in Selmer and Jackson, which have staff available to help a person start the process of finding a job. Candidates should be at least 18 years old. Having a high school diploma or GED is a plus but not required as Manpower chooses candidates based on the needs of its clients.
