Master Gardeners Held Spring Plant Sale in Bolivar
The Hardeman County Master Gardeners celebrated spring at its Annual Plant Sale this past Saturday. The plant sale was held at the Farmers Market Pavilion in Bolivar, Tennessee. Beautiful hanging baskets, flowering annuals and perennials, vegetables, and herbs were some of the items available for purchase.
The Tennessee Extension Master Gardener program trains and certifies volunteers who provide community service through the county extension office. All volunteers are trained with 40 hours of horticultural classes and return 40 hours of volunteer community service through its extension office and local Master Gardener association.
“Master Gardeners are a nationwide group. It makes you feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourself. You never have to feel out of place, no matter what city you visit or move to,” said a 2021 Extension Master Gardener Intern.
