Mayor Julian McTizic Elected as President of the West Tennessee Mayor’s Association

Bolivar Mayor Julian A. McTizic, Sr., has been elected as the President of the West Tennessee Mayor’s Association, an organization dedicated to supporting the communities in the West Tennessee region. The association convenes quarterly to address and promote issues specific to West Tennessee.
In addition to his role as President of the West Tennessee Mayor’s Association, Mayor McTizic also serves as the Vice-President of the Tennessee Municipal League (TML), a member of the Executive Board of the Southwest Tennessee Development District, a member of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Local Government Advisory Committee and serves as the Vice-Chair of its small community subcommittee.
“The West Tennessee Mayor’s Association plays a crucial role in uniting regional leaders to collaboratively address challenges and opportunities unique to West Tennessee. I am truly honored to serve as President of the West Tennessee Mayor’s Association, and I look forward to working alongside my fellow mayors to address the unique challenges and opportunities facing West Tennessee,” said Mayor McTizic.
Under Mayor McTizic’s leadership, the association is poised to continue its advocacy for the region’s communities, focusing on policies and initiatives that benefit West Tennessee’s diverse communities.
