Mayor Pulse Delivers Big Checks to Middleton and Saulsbury Fire Departments

It is always nice to receive a visit from Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse, especially when he brings big checks, which he did to Middleton and Saulsbury during the monthly board meetings held on Monday, September 15, 2025. The checks are part of a more than $2,000,000 in grants from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance awarded to fire departments and rescue squads across the state to help with equipment and training purposes.
On Friday, August 22, 2025, the checks were distributed to the receiving departments and squads, which also included others in Hardeman County. Present to receive their checks were representatives from the City of Bolivar ($32,400), Hornsby ($92,300), Hickory Valley ($26,000), and the Hardeman County Rescue Squad ($72,830. Mayor Pulse accepted the checks on behalf of Grand Junction ($19,970.33), Middleton ($88,950), and Saulsbury ($68,000), which he later delivered to the mayors.
