McKinnie Announces Candidacy for Bolivar City Council
Bolivar Councilman Larry McKinnie is excited to announce his candidacy for re-election for the position of City Councilman, District A Position 2 (East Bolivar).
“I am a candidate with integrity and experience. Having served the last 16 years. I pledge to continue moving Bolivar forward and do my best to make decisions on behalf of the citizens of East Bolivar,” said McKinnie. “I may not be able to stop by every residence, but I appreciate your vote, support, and prayers during this upcoming election!”
Early voting begins Wednesday, April 26, 2023, and will continue through Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Hardeman County Election Commission office. Election Day is Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
Hardeman County citizens running for a city or county office are invited to share their candidacy announcement on Hatchie Press for no charge. The announcement may include what influenced their decision to run for office, platform, experience, education, goals, and family information. A picture of the candidate is also encouraged.
