Middleton American Legion Post 198 Honors Veterans at Memorial Day Ceremony
The City of Middleton held the 17th Annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 29, 2023. The program was hosted by the Middleton American Legion Post 198 and Middleton Chapter at the Veterans Wall.
“We gathered to give a short moment of our time for those who gave the ultimate service and sacrifice for their country . . . True American Heroes,” said Middleton Police Chief A. Bowden, American Legionnaire Post #198.
The program was simple, but with great cause and the adage, “As we wave the red, white, and blue, may we never forget the cost of our freedom.”
In attendance for the ceremony were approximately 20 veterans along with their families.
