Along with the BBQ contest, attendees of the cookoff enjoyed a Saturday in the park shopping from vendors and food trucks selling a variety of drinks and foods, as well as jewelry, purses, and other items. There was also live music, line dancing, children’s games, a bounce house, and face painting.
The Middleton Club was chartered in June 2002 and continues to raise funds to support developmentally disabled children and adults. It also awards one scholarship per year to a graduating senior from Middleton High School.
“We thank our judges, the City of Middleton, and all municipalities throughout Hardeman County for their support and participation,” said Ramona Spencer of the Middleton Civitan Club.
