Middleton Lady Tigers Volleyball, First Place Bronze Winners

The Middleton High School Lady Tigers volleyball team returned to Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) on Saturday, August 24, 2024, just a few weeks after kicking off their season at the FHU Playday that was held earlier in the month. This time around, it was a competition experience, and the Lady Tigers came home first place winners in the Bronze bracket at the tournament.

Several area volleyball teams participated in the event with teams being placed in three brackets – gold, silver, and bronze – that was based on their team performance throughout the day. When it came time to be placed, the MHS Lady Tigers competed in the Bronze bracket that had them first play against Gibson County and for the championship against Trinity Christian Academy.

“The girls played great! They were talking and played great together,” said MHS volleyball coach Zeke Craft. “I was very proud of their performance.”

Congratulations to the MHS Lady Tigers on continuing their season as winners.
