Middleton’s Holmes and Smith Make All-Region 7A Tournament Team
Middleton High School Tigers basketball players Kaleb Holmes and Tamarcus Smith were named to the All-Region 7A Tournament Team for 2024/2025, on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Both players who are MHS seniors, competed with their team that night against the Humboldt High School Vikings in Atwood, Tennessee for the Regional 7-1A Championship. The Tigers were named runner-up in the region.
Other All-Region 7A Tournament Team players, who were recognized were Darion Taylor (#2), Kendrick Taylor (#1 – MVP of the tournament) and Jeffrey Patterson (#4) from Humboldt High School, Khadon Piphus (#3) from Halls High School, and Ben Kahl (#2) from Union City High School.
The MHS Tigers team play its first sectional game on Monday, March 10, 2025, against the Hillcrest High School Vikings in Memphis. You may read the Hatchie Press Community Calendar for more information.
