It was the battle of Middleton High School against Middleton High School (MHS) as the current and some outgoing MHS Lady Tigers players competed against MHS alumni players in the annual MHS High School girls vs. MHS Alumni girls volleyball game that was held in November.

The two teams, High School team and Alumni team, consisted of the following players:

High School – Delaney Byers, Hayleigh Lester, Kayleigh Maxwell, Caitley Mott, Whitley Russell, Chasney Vie, Brooklynn Webb, and Carlee Woods

Alumni – Christian Woods Buggs (2016), Polly Dowty (2017), Lora Keller King (2012), Ashleigh Agee Shelton (2015), Ally Sisco (2018), and Sydney Duffy (2015)

“It was a great night of volleyball. Everyone enjoyed themselves,” said MHS volleyball Coach Zeke Craft who officiated the game. “Parents were watching and reminiscing of the old days. It was a good competitive game. I truly enjoyed watching the girls and remembering when they were playing. We all enjoyed the memories and good friends that we share because of volleyball.”

The High School team won the battle this time around but will have to be work hard to be ready for the rematch next year on August 5, 2023.
