New Mobile Clinic Provides Free Healthcare for Uninsured
Pathways was in Bolivar on Monday, August 28, 2023, to debut its new Mobile Integrated Health Clinic. In the coming weeks, Pathways new mobile clinic will be offering integrated behavioral health and primary care services to individuals in Crockett, Fayette, Hardeman, Haywood, and Lauderdale Counties free of charge through a grant funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
Each day of the week, the mobile clinic will set up in one of the five target counties, building a dependable and consistent schedule to help local communities spread the word about the resource for those without insurance and without access to needed behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, and primary care treatment.
All services provided through the new mobile integrated health clinic are free of charge and the providers will treat patients of all ages. Appointments are not necessary. For more information call (731) 541-1600.
Project Rural Recovery was able to expand mobile health clinic services to 10 new counties, including Hardeman and Fayette thanks to $6.3 million budgeted last year by Governor Bill Lee and the Tennessee General Assembly. {click here to read more}
