‘No More on 64’ Campaign to Raise Awareness, Reduce Traffic Fatalities During Holiday Weekend
The Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) will kick off the “No More On 64” traffic safety enforcement campaign this week with the goal of using 64 hours of enforcement statewide to raise awareness and help reduce traffic fatalities on Highway 64 during the Independence Day weekend. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is one of several agencies across the State that will participate in the kickoff for the campaign that begins on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 8 a.m. and ends on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at midnight.
Participating agencies in the campaign will increase traffic enforcement along the 404 miles of U.S. Highway 64 from Memphis to the North Carolina border.
