Alberta Lee Morrow-Kimp was born May 1, 1954 to the late Mr. Jake and Alma Morrow.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Mays Hill Missionary Baptist Church – Hickory Valley with Reverend Dwight Rucker in charge.

Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.

Alberta was educated in the Fayette County School system. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and at that time joined Mays Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member until her health declined.

On May 1, 1971, she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Chester Kimp and was married for 51 years.

She was a dedicated and hard worker for many years, but the jobs she enjoyed most were being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was lovingly called “Poo Pie” by her great grandchildren.

Alberta leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy a husband of 51 years, Chester Lee Kimp and one daughter, Katie (Johnny) Fuller of Michigan City, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Asha Kimp of Hickory Valley, Tennessee, and Akata Fuller of Bolivar, Tennessee; five great grandchildren, Aden Young, Ariel Young, Aliyah Gatlin of Hickory Valley, Tennessee, and Johnavan Fuller, Averi Tiller of Bolivar, Tennessee;  three sisters, Annie (Reverend Bill) Parks of Memphis, Tennessee, Martha Walton of Hickory Valley, Tennessee, and Bessie Mitchell of Jackson, Tennessee; one sister-in-love, Wadean Blake of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of other relatives and friends who will continue to love and cherish her.
