Obituary: Alice (Parham) Wynn

Alice (Parham) Wynn ~ June 13, 1959 – December 12, 2022 (age 63)

Alice Stein Parham Dozier was born June 13, 1959. She is the fifth living child of Willie Mae Lowe Parham.

Her funeral service was held on Thursday January 5, 2023, Dixie Funeral Home at 12 p.m. with Dr. Barbara Fitzhugh in charge. Burial was in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.

Alice confessed a hope in Christ Jesus in August 1970 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church known now as Rivers of Life international Ministries in Grand Junction, Tennessee.

She served four years in the United States Army as a supply clerk and was released with an honorable discharge in 1981. Alice was a 1977 graduate of Middleton High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Lowe Parham: her husband, Arthur Dozier; her brother, Willie B. Parham; two sister in laws, Barbara Jean Parham and Mary Cassie Lowe.

She leaves to celebrate her life her four sons, Tyler (Christle) Wynn, Jr., Quentin Wynn, Quincy Wynn, and Jeremy Rutherford; five siblings, Mattie B. (Willie) Williams, Ella Mae Parham, Reverend Dr. Barbara Jean Fitzhugh, and Robert Elton Lowe; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
