Alline Miller ~ August 17, 1933 – October 3, 2023 (age 90)
Funeral services for Alline Miller, 90, of Collierville will be at the Macon Church on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. in Macon, Tennessee with burial in the Hopewell Cemetery in Mississippi. She passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at her daughter’s home. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Miller was born on August 17, 1933, in Collierville, daughter of the late Mark S. and Mary Davis Humphrys Wilkinson, and lived in Fayette County for 44 years and for two months in Potts Camp, Mississippi. She worked as a bookkeeper for several different factories. She married William Freeman Miller on December 24, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 2009. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed reading her Bible, her church family, and loved God the most. Mrs. Miller was a member of Macon Church of Christ.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy Gurley (Mitchell) of Potts Camp, Mississippi, Pamela Jane White of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Betty Wilson of Barton, Mississippi; a son, Larry Miller (Mary) of Marion, Arkansas; a sister, Sandra Fine of Yuma, Arizona; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter; three sisters; and four brothers.
Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Pinevale Children’s Home in Corinth, Mississippi or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
