Obituary: Arnell Sullivan

Arnell Sullivan ~ May 11, 1951 – February 19, 2024 (age 72)

A TIME TO BE BORN

On May 11, 1951, the late Mr. Robert Coleman and Mrs. Minnie Ingram were blessed with a bundle of joy whom they named Arnell Liddell.

A TIME TO PLANT

Mrs. Arnell accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Sims Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Michigan City, Mississippi. She remained a faithful member of Sims Chapel until her health failed. Mrs. Arnell graduated from WP Ware known now as Fayette Ware in Fayette County, Tennessee. On August 31, 1971, Ms. Arnell was united in Holy Matrimony to Leon Sullivan; the love of his life. Their union remained as one until Leon’s death on August 31, 2016. Two sons were born to this union. Mrs. Arnell was employed at Harmon Automotive for more that 27 years. She later was employed briefly at Troxel and Carrier. Along with her parents, Mrs. Arnell was preceded in death by one sister, Laverne Bryson.

A TIME TO PLUCK UP THAT WHICH IS PLANTED

Mrs. Arnell made her transition from this earthly life on Monday, February 19, 2024.

A TIME TO EMBRACE

Mrs. Arnell will be missed, however, she leaves to a legacy of memories to be cherished by her two sons, Cornelius (Sonia) Sullivan of Bolivar, Tennessee and Tyrone Sullivan; eight grandchildren, Kenedra, Kenyatta, Richenda, Madison, Keyosha, Dmyhum, Antonio, and Lerussia; ten great grandchildren, Damarion, Lemario, Jamarius, Makynley, Cardarius, Chloe, Landon, Laiden, Lekeylon, and Rusticus; five sisters, Veurches Webster, Lillie (Johnny) Trailor, Ida (Emmit) Bailey, Juanita (Curtis) Grandberry, and Elaine (David) Hudson; two brothers, Carlis (Charlotte) McCain and Robert (Jan) Coleman; one sister-inlaw, Linda Dowdy; three brothers-in-law, Edward Dowdy, Peter Dowdy, and Jessie Bryson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her as well.
