Obituary: Ashley Morris Schaub

Ashley Morris Schaub ~ December 5, 1982 – June 15, 2024 (age 41)

Ashley Morris Schaub, 41 of Middleton, Tennessee passed from this life on the afternoon of Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Christian Care Center in Bolivar, Tennessee. She was born on December 5, 1982, in Jackson, Tennessee to Phyllis Hensley Tranum and Lynn Anthony Morris. 

Ashley received her education at Middleton High School where she played softball and was very active in the Class of 2001. She also graduated with honors and was top ten in her class. After high school, she attended Lambuth University where she graduated in 2006 with a double master’s degree in communications and mathematics.

She had a great love for cooking and gardening. There were many days she could be found working in her garden and took much pride in being the best cook in the family. 

Ashley leaves behind her son, Zander Sage Schaub; her mother, Phyllis (Travis) Tranum; her father, Lynn (Karol) Morris; three siblings, Temple Reed, Zach (Jessica) Parsons, and Mackenzie Morris; step siblings, Bubba (Nancy) Tranum, AJ (Britney) Tranum, Ashton (Will) Paskie, and Hannah Lowrance; and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special friend, Craig Miller. 

Ashley was preceded in death by her son, Zachary Lane Edmondson; her grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Hensley; and her grandmother, Charlene Morris. 

Pall bearers will be Gary Ivy, Clay Forshea, Jess Bebee, Ben Irvin, Jared Clark, and Jimmy Cardwell. 

Graveside services will be held at Reaves Cemetery in Middleton, Tennessee on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar is in charge of professional arrangements.

Memorials can be sent to the Reaves Cemetery fund at 110 Reaves Church Lane, Middleton, Tennessee 38052.
