Obituary: Bernice Beauregard
Bernice Beauregard ~ April 21, 1938 – May 13, 2023 (age 85)
Bernice Beauregard of Bolivar passed away on Friday, May 13, 2023. She was born on April 21, 1938, to the late Robert and Lue Bertha Beauregard.
Ms. Beauregard’s funeral service was held at Old Bethel MB Church on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Patrick Tisdale in charge. Burial was in the Independent Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
She gave her life the Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Old Bethel MBC where she remained a faithful member until her health failed.
Ms. Beauregard was a soft spoken person with a big heart. She enjoyed taking naps and watching westerns on television.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Gertrude Henderson, Dorothy Beauregard, Mary Ann, and Rosie Ella Beauregard; brothers, Robert, R.V., and a baby boy.
Ms. Beauregard leaves to cherish her memory two sons, George (Ruthie) and Michael Beauregard, Sr.; three sisters, Elizabeth Gatlin, Mattie Rivers, and Irene (Patrick) Tisdale, Jr.; two brothers, Richard and Joseph (Dorothy) Beauregard; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will truly miss her.
