Obituary: Bryan Casey Vaughn
Bryan Casey Vaughn, a dedicated supervisor and dangerous goods specialist with FedEx for over 17 years, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born on April 22, 1970, in Selmer, Tennessee. Bryan lived a majority of his life in Shelby County and recently moved back to Hardeman County.
Bryan was a proud graduate of Middleton High School and went on to have a successful career at FedEx, where he displayed professionalism and expertise in his role. His commitment and hard work left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Outside of his professional life, Bryan found joy in various hobbies and interests. He was a baptized member of the church of Christ in Pocahontas. Bryan loved vacationing in Gatlinburg, indulging in hikes amidst nature’s beauty, swimming to unwind, and playing rounds of golf. He also found comfort in the serenity of the beach and cherished moments spent watching TV with his loved ones. Known for his sense of humor, Bryan was a beloved jokester who could light up any room with his laughter.
Chapel services will be held at the Shackelford Funeral Home in Middleton on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 2 p.m. with the burial in the Essary Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., all at the funeral home in Middleton.
Bryan was a cherished son of Gail Vaughn of Middleton and the late Mac Vaughn. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories to be treasured by his surviving family: Sara Vandeven (Nick) of Middleton (daughter); Brandon Vaughn (Hannah) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Matthew Vaughn of Middleton (sons); Gail Vaughn (mother); Gina Inlow (Lloyd) of Bolivar (sister); Sadie Rose Vaughn (granddaughter); and Casey Inlow (nephew). Bryan is also reunited in heaven with his father, paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Martha Vaughn, and maternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Casey.
