Charles Edward Miller ~ June 30, 1944 – November 5, 2022 (age 78)
Charles Edward Miller, 78, of Bolivar passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. He was born in Bolivar on June 30, 1944, and was the twelfth of 16 children born to the late George Miller and Mary Hendrix Black Miller.
His funeral service was held on Friday November 11, 2022, at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Charlie Boyle in charge. Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
At a young age, Mr. Miller attended Campbell Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized. He was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and attended Tennessee State University. Preceding him in death were his parents.
Mr. Miller is survived by one son, Charles, Jr.; brothers, Bill (Ruby) and Speedie (Mary) Miller; sister, Helen (Clarence) Gilchrist and a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss him.
