Erica Lasha (White) Sain ~August 28, 1981 – June 28, 2025 (age 43)

Erica Lasha White was born on August 28, 1981, to Inez “Peggy” Joy (of Bolivar, Tennessee) and the late Larry White (of Memphis, Tennessee).

Her funeral service will be held at All Nations Church of God on Sunday July 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Shon Beasley in charge. The burial will in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home is in charge of the professional service.

Erica was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School, Class of 1999. She was a member of All Nations Church of God. Erica’s soul carried a joy that was both fierce and gentle. She gave love freely, laughed often, and lifted those around her without even trying.

On September 4, 2021, Erica was joined in marriage to Fabian Sain. There were no children born of this union.

Erica found joy in cooking for her family and friends, often bringing loved ones together around the table. She cherished every moment spent with her children and adored her precious grandbaby. In her quiet moments, Erica enjoyed relaxing with her favorite TV shows – especially never missing an episode of 48 Hours and Sistas.

Erica was preceded in death by her loving father, Larry White, who gave her the nick name as we would passionately call her “Big Baby.”; and grandparents, Alex and Margaret Wilkes, and Bill and Daisy White, all preceded her in death. Erica’s aunt, Mildred Williams; one uncle, Bobby Joe White. Erica was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Gregory Lockett and Larry Bernard Patterson.

Left to cherish Erica are her husband, Fabian Sain; her loving mother, Inez “Peggy” Joy; her three beautiful children,  Alexis Darsha White (Kidrecus Giles), Thomas Ja’Tavion “TJ” Hamer, and Ajiaha Casha Long; her adorable grandbaby, Kidria Alani Giles; her two sisters, Katrina Evette Mitchell (late Richard Mitchell) and Desma Nicole Hicks (Chris Hicks); her two brothers, Antwain Patterson (Tameika Cathey) and Charles Davis (Satoria Davis); two uncles, Earnest Wilkes and Samuel White; aunt, Catherine Murphy; and sister/cuz, Kimberly Laray Grice (Marico Grice). She was lovingly known as TeTe Erica by many nieces and nephews, and she shared a uniquely close relationship with Kyle and Kira Mitchell; Zaylen, Zoey, and Zaxton Hicks; Yasmine Turner; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
