Obituary: Guinn Young
Private, family only graveside services at Cearley Cemetery, Toone, will be scheduled for Guinn Dale Young, 69, of Bolivar. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Young departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a life-long resident of Hardeman County. Mrs. Young was born on December 4, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Pat and Donald Sisco and Lemuel Lambert. A bus driver for the Hardeman County School System for 30 years, she was married on March 11, 1973 to Bobby Jo Young, who survives. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was a member of Toone Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons and one daughter, Chris Young of Bolivar, Laura Vickers (Jason) of Roger Springs, and, B. J. Young (Erica) of Saulsbury; three brothers, Richard Lambert (Diane) of Jackson, Donnie Sisco (Penny) of Toone, and Jason Sisco of Medina; two sisters, Vanessa Lambert of Cloverport and Tammy Murphy (Tim) of Toone; and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Tackett.
