Obituary: Gwen Faulk
Gwen Faulk, a beloved member of the Bolivar community, passed away at her home in Bolivar, Tennessee on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born on April 20, 1966, in Jackson, Tennessee. Gwen had a fulfilling career, working in accounting at Somerville Supply for 13 years and exploring various business endeavors over the years.
Gwen will be fondly remembered for her love of the beach, cherishing every opportunity to bask in the sun and sea. However, her greatest joys came from spending time with her family and doting on her grandchildren. A dedicated supporter of her grandkids, she found immense pleasure in watching them play sports and cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Chapel services will be at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. with a burial in the Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
Gwen is survived by her son, Ethan Faulk, and daughter-in-law, Tina, of Hornsby; her mother, Sue Thearp of Bolivar; her sisters, Robin Thomas of Williston and Amanda Kennedy and Cory of Middleton; her grandchildren, Case and Piper Baker; nieces, Alyssa Burnette and Josh, Ella Baker, and Madalyn Carter and Evan; nephews, Zack Doyle and Beth, Kennon and Brylan Kennedy; several great nieces and nephews; as well as her very best friend, Jera Fawcett.
She is reunited in heaven with her father, Robert Glen Thearp; maternal grandparents, Stat and Mary Young; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Allie Thearp; nephew, Carson Kennedy; and other departed loved ones.
