Justin “Jay” Cortez Parker ~ October 10, 1987 ~ June 15, 2023 (age 35)
Justin “Jay” Cortez Parker was born October 10, 1987, in Jackson, Tennessee to John and Brenda D. Parker.
He was a 2006 graduate from Bolivar Central High School. Jay was employed at Jackson Battery Services in Jackson, Tennessee where he was an assistant manager until his death. Jay loved cooking, drawing, and was into electronics (My Little Tech). He was very kind-hearted and respectful. jay confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Hillfield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sam Belle Dickerson; his great grandmother, Channie L Parker; five aunts; six uncles; and two cousins.
A memorial service was held at Hillfield Missionary Baptist Church in Toone on Saturday, June 24, at 10 a.m.
Jay leaves to cherish his loving memories his parents, John and Brenda D. Parker of Toone, Tennessee; grandmother, Katie L. Jestice of Bolivar, Tennessee; seven aunts; one uncle;and a host of other relatives and friends.
