Nikia Obrian Robinson ~ July 10, 1976 – November 15, 2023 (age 47)
Nikia O’Brian Robinson, 47 of Bolivar, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. His life journey was filled with remarkable experiences and cherished moments.
Born on July 10, 1976, to the late Evelyn Jean Lloyd and Willie Fred Robinson in Bolivar, Tennessee, and grew up surrounded by a loving family.
From an early age, Nikia displayed a passion for rap music and cars, loved to watch WWE Monday Night RAW, and football was his favorite sport. He exceled academically, graduating from Bolivar Central High School class of 1994. Nikia furthered his education and attended the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Whiteville, Tennessee where he graduated with a certification in welding.
His career expanded through the years and he made significant contributions to top industries, such as, ARJ Manufacturing/Toyota Boshoku and Pacific Manufacturing of Jackson, Tennessee leaving a lasting impact on his colleagues and clients. Beyond his professional achievements, Nikia was known for his kindness, his smile and warm spirit. In his free time, he dedicated himself to having annual car shows to actively participate in community initiatives. Nikia pursued this passion with enthusiasm and creativity leaving behind a legacy and inspired many. He loved his neighborhood Jervis Land, and it will always hold a special place in his heart. Above all, Nikia Robinson cherished a deep bond with family and friends.
His funeral service will be held at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1 p.m. with Bishop Kelvin Lake in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home is in charge of the professional service.
Nikia was proceeded in death by his mother, Evelyn Jean Lloyd; grandparents, Mattie B. Woods and Luther Woods, Sarah Robinson and Albert Robinson all of Bolivar, Tennessee.
He leaves behind a father, Willie Fred Robinson of Bolivar, Tennessee, who brought immense happiness to his life. He was a loving parent to Niketria Robinson and Nikia Robinson Jr., instilling in them compassion, integrity, and resilience. Nikia was a grandfather to Treu Coby and Lo’yal Robinson. He leaves behind two brothers, Eric (Michelle) Lloyd of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Frederick (Nina) Robinson; one sister, Angela Lloyd of Jackson, Tennessee: Six aunts, Doris Turner, Inell Washington, Gazella Coleman, Gwendolyn Woods, all of Bolivar, Tennessee, Natalie Woods of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Alma Davis of Jackson, Tennessee: three uncles, James Woods, Cedric Woods, and Albert Robinson (Wanda) of Bolivar, Tennessee; a special friend, Myrtle Gaines, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Nikia O’Brian Robinson’s memory will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate to know him. His spirit will live on through the countless memories shared and the positive impact he made on the lives of others.
