Obituary: Roy Lee Hardeman
Roy Lee Hardeman, 60, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away December 19th, 2025, in Kankakee, Illinois.
Born April 26, 1965, in Saulsbury, Tennessee, Roy was affectionately known as “RoyLee”.
In Proud Service to His Country, Roy Lee Hardeman answered the call to serve his country with honor, discipline, and quiet strength. In 1986, Roy enlisted in the United States Army Reserve, committing himself to the protection and service of this nation. He completed his military training focus, resilience, and dedication to excellence.
Through dedication and discipline, Roy built a respected career as a Commercial Truck Driver and Owner Operator in the transportation industry.
Roy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He married Carla (Rowe) Hardeman; children Detrick Martin, Detrice Martin, Nico Hardeman Sr.; stepchildren Stevie Brewer Jr. and Carletta Brewer; siblings Charles, Derrick, Deontae, Barbara, Aliceson, Theresa, and Marcy; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
