Obituary: Ruby Mae Woods
Ruby Mae Woods ~March 3, 1926 ~ December 25, 2022 (age 96)
Ruby Mae Woods was born to the late Mamie Morrow in Bolivar, Tennessee.
Her funeral service was held at Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall on Saturday December 31, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Brother Curtis McCray in charge. Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
Ruby attended school in Humbolt, Tennessee and resided in Humbolt until her early twenties. She was a homemaker and had a passion for making quilts. Ruby confessed her life to Jehovah in 1987 when she was baptized into the Kingdom Hall. She remained a witness until her death.
Ruby spent the last two years living with her daughter, Gloria (Bennie) Camper. She was preceded in death by two sons; James Woods and Lee Chester Woods.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memories four children: Mable Jean Griffin of Chicago, Illinois, Merline McNeal of Detroit, Michigan, Johnny Ray Cross (Kathleen) of Bolivar, Tennessee, and Gloria (Bennie) Camper of Grand Junction, Tennessee; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
