James Ray Stanley ~ April 7, 1959 – December 27, 2022 (age 63)
A TIME TO BE BORN: James Ray Stanley was born April 7, 1959, in Hardeman County, Tennessee to Ruthie Mae Stanley and Enous Spinks, both preceded him in death. He was educated in the Hardeman County Public Schools and entered the Army at the age of 17, where he would serve for 17 years.
A TIME TO EMBRACE: James was very spiritual and had a strong belief in the Bible. He took pride in being a God-fearing man.
A TIME TO LOVE: James enjoyed spending time with close family members and friends and loved listening to reggae music.
A TIME TO DIE: James’ brave battle of life ended on December 27, 2022. God knew he had fought a good life and the battle had been won.
A TIME TO CELEBRATE AND MOURN: James left to celebrate his life yet mourn his death are his children, Arianna Stanley-Ware, James Tyrone Stanley, Fritzi Sinsel, and Derrick Stanley; four sisters, Carolyn Stanley, Neddie Stanley, Bobbie Stanley (who preceded him in death), and Eva Spinks; five brothers, Tony Spinks, Jafton Hudson, Carl Spinks (who preceded him in death), Ernest Stanley, and Willie (Christle) Stanley; two aunts, Betty Herron and Dorothy Hudson; a nephew whom he loved like a son, Arneil Stanley; a special niece, Chiquita Stanley, who preceded him in death; a host of nieces; d nephews; and a special friend, Geneva Woods, who all love and will miss him dearly.
