Obituary: Terry Lynn Whitford – Toone, Tennessee

Mr. Terry Lynn Whitford was born on August 6, 1962, in Toone, Tennessee. His funeral service was held on Saturday August 27, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home and Pastor Wendell Sain was in charge of the service. Burial was in the Whitford cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
He departed this life on August 17, 2022, at Jackson General Hospital, at the age of 60. Mr. Whitford is the son of the late Deacon Edward Whitford, Sr. and Missionary Almeta Whitford. He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Professor James Crisp of Bolivar, Tennessee and the late Mr. Paul and Bessie Whitford.
Mr. Whitford attended school in the Hardeman County School System and graduated class of 1981. He was an employee at Demet Construction Company as an architect. After 30 years of dedication, he retired. Terry was a Christian and a member of the Zion Temple Worship Center, Bolivar, Tennessee.
Mr. Whitford was married to Linda Whitford and to this union, one son, Terry Whitford, Jr., was born.
Mr. Whitford leaves to cherish his memories his son, Terry Lynn Whitford, Jr. (Linda Whitford); his mother, Missionary Almeta Whitford; two sisters, Resa (Lavern) White and Terial Whitford; one brother, Edward Whitford, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Yolanda Clark; three nephews; one niece; two great nephews; one great niece; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
