Obituary: Walter Norris “J.R.” Jacobs, Jr. – Hornsby, Tennessee
Walter Norris “J.R.” Jacobs, Jr., age 65, of Hornsby, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022.
He was born Thursday, July 25, 1957, in Jackson, son of the late Walter Norris Jacobs, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Jernigan Jacobs, living all of his life in Hardeman County. He worked for a short time at Pinson Mounds prior to becoming disabled. Mr. Jacobs enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, and generally just being outside. He was Baptist in faith.
Survivors include his uncles, Bobby Jacobs, of Toone, Larry Jacobs of Bolivar and Jerry Jacobs of Jackson; his aunts, Donna Hamer of Bolivar, Sheila Frost of Salisbury, North Carolina, Kathy Vaughn of Middleburg, Florida, Huglene Vincent of Henderson, and Diane Jacobs of Bolivar; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
