Obituary: Willie Nathan – Whiteville, Tennessee
February 20, 1948 ~ October 1, 2022 (age 74)
Willie Nathan passed away on Saturday October 1, 2022. He was born in Whiteville on February 20, 1948, to Houston Nathan and Gennie V. Cross.
Mr. Nathan’s funeral service was held on Saturday October 8, 2022, at Campbells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at 12 p.m. with Pastor William D. Young in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
He professed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Nathan later became a member of Campbells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where his membership remained. He was employed with Kilgore Corporation where he retired.
Mr. Nathan was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Nathan, and three sisters, Gracie Cross, Dorothy Nathan, and Niecy Pearson. He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Ora Brown and Virgie Nathan; one brother, Jessie Nathan; and many other relatives and friends who will truly miss him.
