Pirtle Announces Candidacy for Hardeman County Clerk

I am proud to announce my candidacy for Hardeman County Clerk, with a commitment to lead the office with integrity, efficiency, and a strong focus on customer service.

I currently serve as Hardeman County’s Zoning Director and Compliance Officer, where I work closely with residents, businesses, and county departments. Through this experience, I have gained a clear understanding of the importance of accessible and responsive local government.

I believe the County Clerk’s office is often the front door of county government, and that citizens deserve to be treated professionally, fairly, and promptly every time they walk through that door.

If elected, my priorities will include improving customer service, reducing delays, and responsibly modernizing record-keeping systems to better serve the public while maintaining accountability to taxpayers.

I also believe strongly that the Clerk’s office must operate with nonpartisan professionalism. This role is about trust—handling records accurately, safeguarding information, and serving every citizen fairly and impartially.

My experience in public service—through county government, the chaplaincy, and as a college administrator—along with my commitment to this community, are the reasons I am seeking this office.

I appreciate your support in the upcoming  Republican primary for Hardeman County Clerk on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
