Progress Being Made on Highway 64 Road Repair
If you have been driving on back roads to avoid going through the City of Bolivar on Highway 64 where the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has been working on road repairs, this is an update letting you know progress is being made. The road repair work began in June on nine miles of highway through Bolivar from Walton Road to Davis Way.
Although there is still some rough riding on sections along that roadway, some areas along Highway 64 are now becoming smooth surfaces again. Sections just outside of Bolivar coming from Memphis; just past Walmart as you are heading to downtown Bolivar; and inside of the Bolivar City limits show what motorists can expect soon when driving through the area.
Road repair is expected to be completed by the end of November 2025.
