Rodgers Sisters Named to Blue Mountain Christian University 2022 Dean’s List

Sisters Mallory Rodgers and Bailey Rodgers are both students at Blue Mountain Christian University (BMCU) and were recently named to the BMCU Dean’s List for the fall 2022 semester. Placement on the Dean’s List is reserved for full-time students earning a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.6 for the semester.

Mallory is a 2020 graduate of McNairy Central High School and is studying biology/pre-physical therapy at BMCU. She will graduate from BMCU in December 2023 and plans to attend graduate school to obtain a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

“I’m looking forward to diving into classes and experiences that are focused specifically on my career choice of being a physical therapist,” said Mallory.

Mallory, who also received the honor of Miss BMCU this year, shared a few words about her experience at the university.

“Though BMCU is a small school, there are many clubs and organizations to get involved with, and through those groups you will gain your closest friends,” said Mallory.

Mallory is from Middleton and the daughter of Gary and Shannon Rodgers.

Bailey Rodgers

Bailey is a 2022 graduate of McNairy Central High School and is studying elementary education at BMCU. She will graduate from BMCU in 2026 and plans to become a teacher, and then obtain a master’s degree.

“I am looking forward to having my own classroom and getting to experience being a teacher,” said Bailey.

Bailey also shared a few words about her experience at BMCU.

“One thing I love about Blue Mountain is how everybody knows everybody. It is a very comforting campus that feels like home,” said Bailey.

Bailey is from Middleton and the daughter of Gary and Shannon Rodgers.
