Bolivar Central High School Lady Tiger Sharaven Perry (#22) has reached a milestone of 1,000 rebounds in her high school basketball career. This accomplishment is exceptional for any basketball player and bittersweet for Sharaven, a senior, who is playing her last basketball season as a BCHS Lady Tiger. She reached 1,000 points against Middleton High School during the Battle of Hardeman County, which was played on Saturday, December 6, 2026, in Middleton.

Although Sharaven reached 1.000 earlier this month, it was more fitting to celebrate the achievement on home court, which was done on Friday, December 19, 2025. Sharaven and her teammates played the Jackson Central-Merry High School Lady Cougars, which they beat 46-39.

“Sharaven is a relentless worker with a true nose for the ball. She brings effort every day and has a genuine love for the game,” said BCHS Lady Tigers basketball coach Nick Beauregard. “Getting 1,000 rebounds is very impressive compared to 1,000 points, which can come in bunches (ex: threes, fast breaks, free throws). Rebounds are limited to missed shots and you usually only get one chance per possession.”

The BCHS Lady Tigers have continued to shine on the basketball court this season. This is the first year Coach Beauregard has led the Lady Tigers basketball team, which has grown in skill and competition on the court.

Sharaven looks forward to playing basketball in college and plans to commit in March 2026.
