Shiloh National Offering Civil War Navy Kids Camp
CSHILOH, Tennessee – Ahoy, Future Nautical Adventurers!
Get ready to set sail into history at our Civil War Navy Camp: Timber Clad Gunboats of the Civil War. Join us from June 30th through July 3rd, 2025, for a thrilling adventure where you’ll dive into the fascinating world of naval warfare, all while having tons of fun with friends!
When: Monday through Thursday, June 30 – July 3, 2025
Time: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: Shiloh National Military Park
Who: Children, ages 8 – 12 (Maximum 20 participants!)
This camp will include hands-on activities, interactive learning about the Battle of Shiloh, artillery simulations, knot tying, and so much more! Plus, you’ll even get to build your very own model of a timber-clad gunboat.

Spaces are limited. Please call the Visitor Center at Shiloh National Military Park at (731) 689-5695 to secure your spot today! Don’t forget to dress for the weather and bring along:
- Bug spray
- Water bottle
- Hat for shade
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable shoes
