Spinks and Crawford Recognized at City Council Meeting

Former Councilman Larry Crawford and Councilwoman Carol Spinks were recognized for their service to the City of Bolivar at the June meeting of the Bolivar City Council.

Mayor McTizic thanked them both for their service and said it had been a pleasure working with them. They were each presented with a Challenge Coin and gift to show appreciation for their time serving on the Bolivar City Council.

Crawford resigned at the March 2023 meeting of the Bolivar City Council due to him moving out of the district and Spinks recently lost her bid for reelection.

In the May 2023 election, Bolivar voters selected Chris Williams and Caroline Miller to fill these seats. Williams and Miller will be sworn in on Saturday, July 1, 2023. {read more about the May 16, 2023 election here}
