St. Mary Catholic Church Holding Weekend Rummage Sale for Charity
St. Mary Catholic Church in Bolivar is holding a rummage sale on Saturday, October 12, 2024, to raise funds for the Hope House Shelter for Woman and Children victims of domestic violence. The rummage sale will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Shoppers can expect to find bargain prices for a wide range of everyday use items.
“The prices will be very low,” said St. Mary Catholic Church Parishioner Pat Pope.
Some items for sale are:
- All size clothes for men, women, and children
- Kitchenware
- Small appliances
- Furniture
- Linens, towels, and area rugs
- Household and decorative items
- Wide variety of Shoes
- Jewelry
Any items remaining from the sale will be donated to the VFW which is organizing a clothing drive for East Tennessee and North Carolina flood victims.
City of Bolivar Mayor Julian McTizic, Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse, and Hardeman County General Sessions Judge Harriet Thompson deemed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Hardeman County during a signing held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
