Star, Inc. Brings Elf to the Stage for the Holiday Season

The Star, Inc. brings a close to its 2022 theatre season with Elf: The Musical, which is sure to get all in the Christmas spirit. The story, based on the movie Elf (showing now at The Luez Theater November 25 and November 26) starring Will Ferrell has become a beloved holiday classic. “This hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity.”

The Star, Inc. is a community theatre with actors coming from Fayette County as well as outside of that county, which includes Hardeman. The production of Elf: The Musical has a couple of cast members from Hardeman County, as well as its director.

Bill Burns, a Hardeman County resident, returns as director after performing in Star, Inc’s successful production of Broadway Nights that was presented in October. Other productions Burns directed at Star, Inc. include Addams Family, Grease, Into the Woods, Miracle on 34th Street, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Star, Inc. presents Elf: The Musical, December 8, 9, and 10, 2022, at 7 p.m. and December 10 and 11, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Fair Theater in Somerville, Tennessee. You may purchase tickets online or at the Star, Inc. box office one hour before each performance. The Fair Theater is located at 116 East Market Street, Somerville, Tennessee 38068.
