Successful Child Safety Seat Check Held at Whiteville Elementary School
The Whiteville Police Department, in collaboration with the Bolivar Police Department and Tennessee Highway Patrol, proudly announced the successful completion of the Child Safety Seat Check held at Whiteville Elementary School on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The organizers reported the event was a resounding success, with numerous parents and guardians taking advantage of the opportunity to ensure their child’s safety. The team was able to provide crucial assistance with the proper installation of child safety seats, helping to enhance road safety for many families in the community.
Event Highlights:
• 14 Car Seats were replaced, through grant funding.
• 2 Appointments were scheduled for fitting and replacement.
• 20+ Fitting, Installation, and Use Errors were corrected.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants and are especially grateful for the contributions of our dedicated officers,” shared the organizers.
