TBI Confirms Missing Saulsbury Woman is Deceased

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) updated the Silver Alert which was issued last week for Bobbie Jene Watkins of Saulsbury. The TBI shared the following statement on their social media accounts.

“It is with heavy hearts that we update this Silver Alert with news that Bobbie Jene Watkins is deceased. We are keeping her family and friends and those who knew her in our hearts, and offer our most sincere condolences in their loss.”

A Silver Alert was issued for 77-year-old Bobbie Jene Watkins after Hardeman County 911 received a call of a structure fire at her residence at 10:42 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Additional details have not been released at this time. The investigation is continuing.
