‘The WAY’ Brings the Journey of Jesus to Bolivar

Have you ever thought about what it might be like to have lived in the day and time that Jesus walked the roads of the city of Jerusalem? Have you ever considered what the events around the crucifixion of Jesus might have been like? Come experience the journey of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection in Bolivar this Easter weekend by attending The WAY.

The WAY: Resurrection Day, an interactive play, offers the opportunity to hear Jesus’ redemptive story from five unique perspectives during a 30 minute walking presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The WAY is a free event presented by Parrans Chapel Baptist Church (PCBC) and Mt. Gilead Baptist of Bethel Springs. Matt Boatwright, associate pastor of PCBC, hopes the event shares the true meaning of Easter with the community.

“We would like for people to know there is a God who can be known by mankind and that Easter is truly a celebration of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God,” said Boatwright.

The WAY: Resurrection Day will take place Thursday through Saturday, April 6 – 8, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening at the Hardeman County Agribusiness Center, 210 Vildo Road, Bolivar, Tennessee. Parking is accessible from Highway 64.

Large groups are welcome and encouraged to call Parrans Chapel Baptist Church at (731) 658-5990 for planning purposes.

Performances will go on as scheduled, rain or shine. Follow The Way Facebook page for updates.
