Todd Pulse Takes Mayor Seat September 1

Hardeman County voters elected a new mayor in last Thursday’s County General Election. Approximately 5,000 of 14,693 registered voters showed up at the polls to help local realtor, Todd Pulse, take the lead with 2,456 votes. Pulse beat out his opponents Megan Hedwall, Aubrey Phillips, and Incumbent Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain.

“Thank you to the citizens and voters of Hardeman County! I am very grateful for the support and encouragement you have shown me throughout the last few months.” Mayor Elect Todd Pulse stated, “Thank you to the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to help our campaign in any way. Your help is truly appreciated and never taken for granted. Thank you to all of my wonderful family for your unwavering love and support.”

Pulse continued, “Now that the election is over, let’s work together and move forward. I am honored and dedicated to serve all the people of our great county! Thank you again and God Bless!”

Megan Hedwall shared her congratulations, “Thank you to everyone who voted for me. My congratulations to Mr. Todd Pulse on winning county mayor.”

Aubrey Phillips said, “Thanks to those who supported me and took the time to go out and vote.”

Hatchie Press reached out to Mayor Sain after the election, but at publication received no response.

All newly elected officials will be sworn in on Thursday, September 1, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hardeman County Courthouse.
